Gut Instinct

So many times in life you hear the phrase 'follow your gut'. And I admit I did not trust my 'gut' for many years. In looking back, I think it wasn't my gut that I did not trust but I did not trust that I would not make a mistake in my decision making. All along, my gut was right on even if my mind or my heart convinced me otherwise. So fast forward some years since my younger years and adding in the practice of meditation and working on my third eye chakra, my brow chakra, my instinct, and I believe my 'gut' is stronger and healthier than ever. And I'm finally listening to it, even when I don't like what is says. But don't get me wrong, I still struggle with trusting it and wanting to fight back. At the same time, your 'gut' instinct is often associated with avoidance of something you want to deter but it can also provide the 'gut' feeling to proceed with something. It works both ways.

Have you ever had a conversation with somebody and thought something just doesn't seem right? That's your 'gut' instinct. Have you ever had an overly uneasy feeling or an overly peaceful feeling? That's our 'gut' instinct. If you are open to paying close attention to the words, actions, and energies of interactions - whether in person or over some medium like social media or the phone- you will begin to see and feel what your third eye, your 'gut' instinct is signaling to you. Now I know this 'gut' instinct is there to help me and yet many times I will want to trust and give folks the benefit of the doubt, Honestly, I think my overly optimistic and trusting self can be my own worst enemy because many times I want to override what my 'gut' is telling me. And at the same time, when bridge are starting to ignite with a chance of being burned completely, I will be overly cautions and not follow my 'gut' in hopes of salvaging situations when in reality my 'gut' it's telling me to take those leap of faith moments and trust it. Meditation. Paying attention to your instincts. Connecting with your higher power. Trusting the universe. Having faith all good things will come your way. Staying positive in your own energy fields. This is just to name a few approaches to strengthen your third eye, you 'gut'. And trusting your 'gut' takes practice. It is a bit of leap of faith to trust your 'gut' especially if you have a history of not trusting it. But some faith and trust in your own self is needed to take that first step or steps and trust your 'gut'. And like many things in life, it takes practice. So start listening to your 'gut' and pay attention to what it is signaling to you. In most instances, your 'gut' is right on for you, to help you, and to guide you for that moment and to keep you on the path you are supposed to be on. Trust your 'gut'. ~ChaCha
