Gifts Shared

Grateful to those who share
Their gifts with the world
Some gifts are not the kind
You buy in a store
You must look inside to find
Passed from ancestors before
And each one of us has talents
If you’re willing to look within
Some may call it a present
Meant to share and begin
To impact and inspire another
In ways unexpected and new
Many may not bother
Or don’t believe it can be true
How can one person make a difference?
Can it only take one instance?
Only one moment to share?
And a life could be touched?
Though you may never know
A moment, a life brushed
Offering your gift for another to grow
Keep looking and sharing
Your talents are needed every day
The world needs your caring
Your gifts are here to stay
