Beauty All Around

As this new year begins, so many folks are starting on a journey into the new year with high hopes, grand expectations and a quest for a great new year. And to each of the folks in this category, I wish you all the best in the new year. And for those folks who are putting forth positive energy and accepting the day as the universe presents it, I wish you beauty all around. Beauty all around is a positive energy which brings forth a vision to see and find beauty in ordinary things making them extraordinary. Beauty is the lesson of the day, the good vibes you receive and feel and finding acceptance of the day. Many times the expectations of the day are the focus of our vision, looking for something that may or may not exist in reality because your searching for an expectations. And while searching for your expectation, you may miss the situation that is presented to you and the beauty that exists from it. Think about the times when you lose something and become so focused on searching for the lost item, that while shuffling though things searching, you don't see anything but trying to locate the item you are searching. What did you miss seeing while shuffling? What small treasure did you just pass up? I offer you an alternative approach to your day, not to give up expectations, but to add in some time and space for no expectations but to just open yourself up and see what the universe brings - and search to find the beauty of it. A flower growing in an unexpected place like a crack in a sidewalk. A child laughing with a messy face from a tasty treat. The sun trying to peek through the clouds on an overcast day. A person holding the door open for a total stranger at the store. Those kind gestures, efforts of nature and unique people are gifts of beauty --- only if you are open to the vision to see it. So as the new year grows day by day, my wish for you (and for me) is to have the vision of beauty all around. ~ChaCha
